Katie and Eric

Working with Visio at Katie and Eric's wedding was a blast. Katie and Eric were really going for some unique twists for their May wedding that reflected the unique and fun couple they are. Checkout the video below. The choir came in singing down the aisles. That was one of our favorite moments.

Miriam & Steven

Such a sweet wedding and beautiful day. It was really special being a part of Miriam and Steven's wedding. It took place at Ebenezer United Methodist Church - the same church that Miriam's sister and parents were married at and the same church that her great-great-grandfather attended. We love sentimental and special details like that! It was the cutest church and although small, everyone crowded in - eager to be a part of such a loving couple's special day.

Winkler-Grady Wedding

We so enjoyed this wedding! Julie was a bride who knew what she wanted and knew how to get it. She was on top of details like no other bride we have encountered, and those details included making sure every single person at her wedding (including all of her vendors) were taken care of and welcomed. Before the ceremony David, the groom, (instead of being overcome with nerves) was so warm and hospitable and was taking the time to greet his guests and vendors.
We were certainly surprised by what took place on the dance floor - but many of the guests weren't surprised, and in fact expected nothing less from such a fun couple as Julie and David. I don't remember the last time we laughed so hard at a wedding reception (or ate so well for that matter!!!)
Thank you for the AWESOME time Julie and David!

The Bar Has Been Raised -

For grooms that is. Amy was on top of the wedding plans, but Donald took the prize for surprise of the night. Nothing tickles a wedding professional more than seeing something unique or new at a wedding, and Donald's performance was certainly that. So all of you grooms out there, we are going to start expecting a lot more out of you. We know you are all capable - after all, that is why she said YES!
Enjoy! And thank you Donald.

Charleston in the Rain

Leslie and Michael planned a gorgeous destination in one of our favorite cities to shoot in, Charleston. Although the weather didn't cooperate (it rained Cats and Dogs!), they and their guests still had a wonderful time. The historic church, St. Mary's, held a sentimental place in their hearts and the reception location at the Wild Dunes, was a super nice place to party and to stay! Once again, we got to party with The Embers that night! Woohoo! Their photographer, Ricardo of Lux Images, came up from Florida for the occasion.

Meredith and Drew

Meredith and Drew had a huge family and an enormous group of friends. The celebration started first thing that morning and lasted all night long. They hired the perfect band for the occasion too - the Embers. We love working with these guys; they know how to keep a reception movin' and groovin'.
